Abstract: Organic fluorescent molecules have received considerable attention owing to their various optoelectronic applications. Herein, we report the design and synthesis of two cholesterol-functionalized cyanostyrene-phenothiazine-based D–π–A systems that are emissive in both the solution and solid states.
