Intraoperative nerve monitoring in endocrine surgery: prevalence and reasons for its use in Australia and New Zealand

Abstract: Background: Intraoperative nerve monitoring (IONM) has increasingly been used in thyroid surgery by general, endocrine and head and neck surgeons.
