Intrapartum Maternal Prophylactic Antimicrobial Treatment and Neonatal Jaundice

Abstract: Intrapartum antibiotics are widely used and may potentially affect bilirubin levels and neurotoxicity in the newborn. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of intrapartum antibiotic exposure on neonatal jaundice. We retrospectively collected data from 972 neonates born to 963 mothers.
