In this study, we present the results of palaeomagnetic research conducted on Jurassic units of the Cañadón Asfalto Basin (CAB) in Patagonia, formed during Gondwana breakup. This basin is a key locality for understanding intra-plate deformation within Patagonia during the Jurassic.
