Marc is no stranger neither to members of the ERS, being a brilliant recipient of the 2006 Cournand Lecture, nor to the readers of both the European Respiratory Review, which he has masterfully headed as chief editor from 2009 to date [17], and the ERJ, where he has put a tremendous effort as associate editor to attract and edit seminal papers on asthma and pulmonary hypertension (two domains of Marc's numerous expertise).
