The research study emphasized patient-centred care using a community assessment tool for persons with TB. The main objective was to identify the timeliness of healthcare services, access to TB services, quality of information from TB patients, and attitudes of healthcare providers, communities, and families towards TB patients. Conducted in the Trichy district across nearly 10 TUs, site selection was based on TB champions, high caseload, and District TB Officer suggestions. The study had a descriptive design with convenient sampling and used a mixed-method approach. The sample size was nearly 1,223 TB patients, including in-patients, current patients, and those who completed treatment within 6 months. The study aims to promote corporate social responsibility, provide better treatment for all patients, enhance their lives, and effectively eliminate TB.
