Abstract:This volume represents a cross-disciplinary effort to understand transnational feminist struggles for reproductive justice. We use the concept of transnational feminism to grasp the emergence of a historical subject—feminism—that despite its heterogeneity constitutes a central voice in gendering democracy and engendering citizenship.
