Introduction to endodontic diseases and their treatment in companion animals

Abstract: Background: Endodontically diseased teeth are a common finding in clinical practice, with treatment depending on the duration of the injury, the stage of development of the tooth, and the type of tooth. Endodontic therapy eliminates oral pain and retains tooth functionality, and has decreased surgical complications compared to extraction.
