This paper presents an adaptive imaging technique run on a mobile service system for endoscopic image enhancement by using color transform and Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrices (GLCM) for a single input endoscopy image. The method is simply deal with the color image channels combination which chose the maximum scalar values of red, green and blue channel images, respectively. The GLCM subsequently applied for selecting the highest contrast and entropy images of the expanding image series. The enhanced endoscopy image is generated by fusing of the color, contrast and entropy images. We also proposed a service system with medical image retrieval application via quick response code authentication based on the Android operating system, which helps clinicians convenient in using mobile phone and reviewing images of the patient with cost efficiency. For the mobile technologies are growing rapidly, the mobile service system is installed to connect a Picture Archive and Communication Systems (PACS) system in hospital and applied for automatic evaluation of colon images screening. The experimental results show the proposed system is efficient for observing gastrointestinal tract polyp. The performance is evaluated and compared with Fujinon intelligent chromo endoscopy enhanced method. All Rights Reserved

The amounts of unstructured data stored in companies are rapidly growing up, and the needs for utilizing those data are coming up. We've been working on research and development of a platform that can ease utilization of unstructured data. In order to make situation aware information system in organizations such as hospitals, utilizing unstructured data such as texts, images, and voices, in combination with structured data is required. For example, most of the hospitals own several information systems for each purpose and each organization. Thus, searching patient information across multiple data sources or data types is difficult problem that must be solved. To solve this problem, we developed content repurposing platform that enables search refinement across data sources using metadata database which store metadata extracted from each data sources. The platform is constructed on top of object storage and includes metadata extraction engine, metadata DB, content router, and search engine. We applied the content repurposing platform to a hospital and made preliminary experimental evaluation. The result of experiment shown that the time to prepare data for a case conference was dramatically reduced to 1/68 meaning that most of the manual operations for data preparation could be removed.

This paper deals with selection of appropriate indexing techniques applied on MySQL database for a health care system and its related performance issues. The proposed Smart Card based Online Health Care System deals with frequent data storage, exchange and retrieval of data from the database servers. Speed and accuracy is of primary concern of the system. An approach towards the actualization of this proposal requires through analysis of performance related issues. B-Tree indexing technique is applied in most of the cases but other indexing techniques such as Hash and Bitmap are also used as per the requirement for fast retrieval of patient information from health care database. Suitable memory management and indexing techniques are analyzed and proposed for fast and accurate data retrieval from the system. Application of the proposed system has been developed as front end in .net whereas, back end as database in MySQL.
