Abstract:X-ray sources with a photon energy higher than 2140 eV are increasingly being used for routine x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) on laboratory-based instruments. This analytical approach is termed “HAXPES” (hard x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy).
