“…This is particularly due to the call for transition from fee-for-service payment models to alternative payment models, which are meant to improve person-centered care while adding value (Nussbaum et al, 2018;Paterson et al, 2018). Alternative payment models incentivize reimbursement based on achievement of quality indicators at lower cost (McGrady, 2018).
