This is our fourth, and final issue in Volume 2 of IEEE JOURNAL OF MICROWAVES. The October 2022 release contains sixteen new articles: three invited papers and thirteen regular contributions. Our download count continues to rise, having reached over 210,000 as of August 31, 2022. The usage count for August 2022 was 9,690, a 50% increase in usage over the same monthly period of August 2021. We have just submitted our application for inclusion in Clarivate's Web of Science which, if and when we are approved, should substantially improve our already significant and rising visibility. Our 70 th Anniversary of the MTT Society special issue (scheduled for release in January 2023) is taking shape and we are looking forward to a very popular third year of publications. Substantial changes to the US and international publishing world are now in the works after the recent release of the US OSTP's (Office of Science and Technology Policy) special memo on, "Ensuring Free, Immediate, and Equitable Access to Federally Funded Research." This policy shift, scheduled to go into effect in 2025, is likely to cause extreme chaos for authors and publishers alike. Fortunately, we believe the IEEE JOURNAL OF MICROWAVES is strategically poised to take advantage of any changes that focus authors toward open access, as we continue to build-up our author base, our extensive network of readers, and our innovative and author-centric approach to scientific publishing. Please continue to correspond with us and help us to better meet your needs, as both authors and research beneficiaries, as you enjoy our new publication and consider submitting your latest research.
