“…The self-concept possessed by narcotics prisoners is related to the knowledge, expectations, and assessments of narcotics prisoners against themselves. This relates to the prisoner's perspective on his future, where this self-concept can influence his behavior choices and expectations of life (Burns, Diaz, & Holler, 2020). Furthermore, Baron and Byrne (2004) argue that self-concept is a person's self-label as a basic philosophy consisting of an ordered combination of beliefs and self-assessments.…”

“…Populations of A. suspensa decreased by 40% in some areas in the years following releases of the two braconid parasitoid species, but A. suspensa continued as a serious pest in Florida [ 159 ]. In view of this, a D. longicaudata mass-rearing and augmentative releases were carried out later, which generated significant reductions in A. suspensa populations in urban and suburban areas of Florida [ 144 , 232 ]. Because of these releases D longicaudata replaced D. areolatus as the major parasitoid of A. suspensa in the southern portion of Florida, while D. areolatus predominated in the northern sector [ 46 , 233 ].…”

“…The establishment of D. longicaudata in the Americas has encouraged augmentative biological control development not only against the exotic C. capitata [30][31][32], but also against economically important native Anastrepha species, such as Anastrepha suspensa (Loew) [33,34], A. ludens (Loew), A. obliqua (McQuart), A. serpentina (Wiedemann), A. striata (Schiner) [23,35,36], and A. fraterculus (Wiedemann) [37]. This exotic braconid parasitoid was not found to attack non-target hosts or beneficial insect species in the American countries where it was released [30].…”
