Invasive Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Cervix in Pregnancy: A Case Report
Abstract:Cervical squamous cell carcinoma is the most common histological type of carcinoma in the uterine cervix, but during pregnancy is relativity uncommon, with an incidence of 0.8 to 1.5 cases per 10,000 births. Cervical squamous cell carcinoma is the leading cause of death among women aged 35 to 54 years and the second most common cause among women aged 15 to 34 years after breast carcinoma.
