Abstract:Terrestrial invasive invertebrates can rapidly colonize new areas, causing detrimental effects on biodiversity, economy, and lifestyle. Targeted environmental DNA (eDNA) methods could constitute an early detection tool given their sensitivity to small numbers of individuals.
