Abstract:This study aims to identify plant species with potential anti-diabetic properties. From March to June 2022, this research was conducted in West Sumatera, Indonesia, in 5 regencies, 56 villages, and through interviews with 179 community leaders. This survey and interview study is descriptive in nature. The findings revealed that there were 44 species belonging to 33 families.
