Abstract: The nexus between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate governance (CG) has received negligible attention in emerging economies (Zaman, Jain, Samara, & Jamali, 2022; Jahid, Rashid, Hossain, Haryono, & Jatmiko, 2020).
