“…Also, there were descriptions of not fully processed the incident being afflicted by a TTS and a year after the incident the patients were still not being able to manage the emotional reactions and they could feel sadness and start crying. These results are confirmed in other studies reporting that patients with TTS suffer from psychological illness (24, 25). Emotional reactions are an important part of patients' experiences of an evolving event (26–28) and these should be considered when giving guidance to patients about their new life situation.…”

“…The study by Ebadi et al investigating the effect of reflexive plantar massage on physiologic indices and extubation time in OHS patients, showed no effect on these indices; yet, it exerted an effect on reducing extubation time, a finding which is consistent with this study (Ebadi, Kavei, Moradian, & Saeid, 2015). Apart from the promising effects of aromatherapy in these patients, other factors including medication adherence (Lin et al, 2017, 2018, 2019), health literacy (Lin, Brostrom, Griffiths, & Pakpour, 2019), and self‐care behaviors (Lin et al, 2018, 2020; Saffari et al, 2017) in the patients with CVDs have protective effects.…”

“…The FSDS, a 13-item self-report, is widely used to assess female sexual activities. The 13 items are rated on a five-point Likert scale (ranging from 0 to 4), with higher scores indicating more sexual distress [22]. The FSDS has been translated into Persian with satisfactory internal consistency (α = 0.81) [23] and good known-group validity (i.e., the Persian FSDS can distinguish sexual distress among healthy women, women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder, and women with other types of female sexual dysfunction) [24].…”
