Abstract:Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the antimicrobial properties and pigmentation effects of several medicinal plants on antibiotic-resistant Salmonella typhimurium. Methods: Medicinal plant extracts were prepared using ethanol as a solvent, and the antimicrobial activity was assessed by measuring the diameter of the inhibition zones using the microdilution method.
