Abstract:A series of boron-promoted Ni-Co/Ca catalysts were synthesized by the sol–gel method to enhance syngas generation from biomass pyrolysis. The efficiency of these catalysts was evaluated during the pyrolysis of rice straw in a fixed-bed reactor, varying the Ni/Co ratio, boron addition, calcination temperature, and residence time.
