Investigating the function spiral in later life: Aging attitudes, physical activity, and gait

Abstract: This study tests the Function Spiral Model, which proposes that functional decline often occurs prematurely: negative aging attitudes reduce activity engagement, which then advances functional decline via physical deconditioning.
