Abstract:This poster presents preliminary results of a pilot study of the information practices of parents of gender non‐conforming (GNC) youth. Semi‐structured interviews with six parents of transgender or non‐binary youth (ages 12–25) were conducted. Parents prioritized their children, regardless of age, as epistemic and cognitive authorities.
