Abstract:MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a group of non-coding RNAs that exert master regulatory functions in post-transcriptional gene expression. Accumulating evidence shows that miRNAs can either promote or suppress tumorigenesis by regulating different target genes or pathways and may be involved in the occurrence of carcinoma. miR-409-3p is dysregulated in a variety of malignant cancers.
