Abstract:This study explores the effectiveness of mid-infrared (MIR) spectroscopy in combination with chemometrics as an alternative to sensory analysis for detecting camel’s milk adulteration with cow’s milk. A paired comparison test involving various concentrations of adulterants was initially conducted to assess consumers’ ability to detect such adulteration. The analysis successfully classified samples into adulterated and authentic camel’s milk using principal component (PC) analysis and hierarchical cluster analy… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
