Abstract:Background: Studies have suggested that elevated postoperative heart rate was associated with bleeding following bariatric surgery. Therefore, we questioned whether patients with preoperative elevated heart rate are more prone to postoperative bleeding following sleeve gastrectomy (SG) than those with normal heart rate.
