Investigating the Suitability of Various Silver(I) Complexes for Use in a Cyanide-Free Silver Electrolyte

Abstract: The suitability of various nitrogen, sulfur, oxygen, and phosphorus compounds as complexing agents in a silver electrolyte was examined by using potentiometric titration under practical conditions. The setup consisted of three electrodes to measure the pH and the activity of the silver ions simultaneously.
