Investigation and application of nonlinear ultrasonic guided wave in closed and open waveguides

Abstract

I would like to express my hearties gratitude to my supervisor Professor Zheng Fan for his excellent guidance, useful discussion and support throughout the course of my Ph.D. study at Nanyang Technological University. He is a gracious and enthusiastic mentor, always showing excitement and encouragement in our conversations of regular meetings, even though most of time I make little progress. He is also a knowledgeable supervisor, I have learned a lot of knowledge about acoustics from him, which definitely widens my horizon. My supervisor sets a good example in my research career.
