Investigation Experimental and Finite Element Method of Mechanical Properties of Hot Forging on Ti6Al4V Alloy

Abstract: Forging is one of the oldest and the most important processes of metal forming. The process occurs due to the waxy deformation of metal. In the forging process, the die walls control the material flow and the mechanical properties of the workpiece are significantly improved. Today's world industries, financing costs play a leading role in production. These categories have entered the industry to create a variety of simulation and numerical modeling methods to eliminate this problem. Simulation and experimental… Show more

“…The welding operation requires an operator with a considerable skill and experience to designate all desired welding parameters together [20]. To this end in modern industries, there has been a lot of research to replace DoE and algorithm systems in order to eliminate the need for a highly-skilled operator [21]. Algorithm systems in industrial processes are of a great importance for several reasons such as increasing efficiency, improving work conditions and ensuring high quality of manufactured goods [22].…”

“…The composite joining of these two materials helps different industries to reduce weight and maintain performance. Weight loss is a major challenge in various *Corresponding author E-Mail: st_a.rafiei@urmia.ac.ir (A. Rafiei) industries to maintain performance and reduce fuel consumption [5]. Composites can also be structurally better by compromising between two materials that operate independently.…”

“…The diminution of mechanical properties, which leads to the fracture of a substance or a component under cyclic loads, is defined as fatigue. It is estimated that about 90% of motion failures in metal components are along of fatigues [8].…”
