Investigation Into the Hydrodynamic Processes of Fitting Connections for Determining Pressure Losses of Transport Hydraulic Drive

Abstract: The article presents the findings of theoretical and experimental research on hydraulic processes occurring in the hydraulic drives of transport machines. The paper analyses the influence of hydrodynamic processes on the flow characteristics of fluid considering different hydraulic fitting connections. The performed analysis is based on numerical simulations using Navier–Stokes equations for the velocity field. The dynamics of fluid flow in the hydraulic system has been investigated taking into acc… Show more

“…Therefore, improving the efficiency of the axial flow pump and other flow passage components of the system has strong practical significance for energy conservation and emission reduction [3]. The improvement of the axial flow pump performance, however, must depend on the perfection and enrichment of the axial flow pump design theory.…”

“…In current research, for comparing analysis and investigation a root cause analysis of the failure of hydraulic flexible high-pressure hoses, replaced by compact version during a maintenance a two layers braided high-pressure hose under investigation. The two layers braided highpressure hose with inner diameters 1/2" is one of the most frequently used type of high-pressure hose in the hydraulic drives, according to Karpenko and Bogdevičius (2020). The standard two metal braid reinforced hydraulic hose (2SN) is accepted for investigation according to iTeh standards (2015a).…”

“…For the marine engineering industry, the pipeline system plays the role of connecting various key equipment, which is directly related to the functional integrity of the delivered products. However, in the actual use of equipment, abnormal vibrations often occur due to the interaction between the internal fuid of the pipeline and the external wall [4][5][6]. Especially for high-value-added passenger ships represented by luxury passenger ships, due to the complexity of their system functions, the layout density of pipelines is much higher than that of conventional marine products, the load situation is more complex, and abnormal vibrations are more likely to occur.…”
