Investigation of a Novel Chemical for Bullhead Water Shutoff Treatments

Abstract: TX 75083-3836, U.S.A., fax 01-972-952-9435. AbstractTraditionally bullhead water control consists of the placement of water-soluble chemicals without mechanically isolating oil layers. In order to be successful, bullhead treatments should block water-bearing layers without affecting the permeability of the oil-bearing layers too much.
