Digital technologies have an important role in increasing diversity and access in educational processes. However, although digital environments are becoming widespread, it is also seen that there are inequalities such as socio-economic level, rural-urban formation, lack of infrastructure, etc. in access to these environments. Digital equity in education is the promotion of fairness and equality in access to digital technologies (including hardware, software, high quality broadband, etc.), digital skills, uses and attitudes for all students (OECD, 2023). In this book chapter, under the title of Diversity and Equality in the Digital World, the topics of Digital Equality and Inclusion in Education, Digital Inequalities in Educational Environments, Digital Diversity and Access to Resources, Developing the competencies of teachers and administrators to use digital resources inclusively, and Policies and Practices on Diversity and Equality are included.
