Investigation of ACC-Deaminase and Indole Acetic Acid Producing Bacteria from Rhizospheric Soils in Ağrı Province

Abstract: Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) have critical role in promoting plant growth and health with various mechanisms. Production of indole acetic acid (IAA) and 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate (ACC) deaminase activity are well-known plant growth promoting (PGP) properties. In the current study; A total of 48 morphologically distinct bacterial colonies were chosen during the isolation of bacteria from various rhizospheric wheat, maize and sainfoin soil samples from agricultural areas in Ağrı-Turkey.
