The rising demand for sustainable energy has increased interest in biomass utilization for producing synthetic gas (syngas). This study reviews biomass-to-energy conversion technologies for syngas production, focusing on process efficiency, product purity, and environmental sustainability. Life cycle analysis confirms the sustainability of biomass sources. The advantages and limitations of each conversion route are examined, highlighting the importance of research and policy support to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The abstract emphasizes the role of syngas in transitioning to cleaner, resource-efficient energy systems.
