This study aims to determine the characteristics of the stability test using Bantak as the main material. Fundamental studies in terms of the characteristics of Stability values include Density (Density), Flow (melting), VIM (Void in Mix), VMA (Void in Mineral Aggregate), VFB (Void Filled Bitumen), and Marshall Quotient (MQ). This study uses an experimental test method consisting of different bitumen content variants, respectively, 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5%, and 7%. Each variant consists of three samples of the test object. The research was carried out at the building materials laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The implementation stages include inspection of AC 60/70, an inspection of aggregates (fine aggregate and coarse aggregate), an inspection of fillers, and manufacturing mixed specimens and stability tests with various characteristics. The results of the research showed that the average value of stability, density, flow, void in the mix, void mineral aggregate, void filled bitumen, and Marshall quotient was 1156.44 kg, 2.33 gr/cc, 3.07 mm, 5.20 %, 13.92% 60.10% and 377.28 kg/mm. Finally, Bantak aggregate can be used as an alternative in the manufacture of hot asphalt mixtures because the research performance data meet the requirements for accepting Indonesian national standards. Its abundant availability makes Bantak a solution in exploiting Merapi material, which is very influential on the environmental impact and improves residents' economy in the quarry area.

Teknik pengukuran kualitas beton dapat dideteksi dengan mengetahui besarnya kecepatan perambatan gelombang ultrasonik. Dalam prosesnya, akurasi hasil pengukuran ditentukan oleh jarak transducer dan receiver, mutu material, impedansi akustik material, dan salah satunya homogenitas material. Hingga kini, metode yang populer digunakan adalah direct dan indirect untuk mengetahui kualitas material dan deteksi kerusakan pada beton. Salah satu kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah ketika kedua metode tersebut tidak dapat digunakan disebabkan kondisi eksisting Gedung. Skema uji semi-direct diusulkan untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang tidak dapat dijangkau oleh metode direct dan indirect. Hasil akhir pengujian menunjukkan tingkat akurasi yang lebih rendah dibandingkan metode yang lainnya dengan selisih hasil pengujian 30%.

Concrete is the primary material in construction, so it needs further research to get good quality concrete. The quality and durability of concrete are influenced by the amount and shape of the air cavity inside the concrete. With vibrating, the air that is inside the concrete will be lost. The benefits of vibration will only be achieved if planned and implemented with a suitable method. With proper vibration, the air in the concrete will come out and make porous concrete. Reduction or removal of air cavities will make concrete mixes strong with low permeability, increasing the durability of concrete. This study aims to determine the optimum strong vibrating on the compressive strength of Fc’ 21,7 Mpa concrete. Vibrating will be performed on cylinder concrete samples with a duration time of 3 minutes and with different variations in acceleration 160 m/s2, 170 m/s2, 180 m/s2, 190 m/s2, 200 m/s2, variation velocity 140 mm/s, 150 mm/s, 160 mm/s, 170 mm/s, 180 mm/s, displacement variation 600 mm, 800 mm, 1000 mm, 1200 mm, 1500 mm. Each variation consists of 7 concrete samples. These tests were performed with methods of external vibrating by using MBT Vibrating table CO-410 in fresh concrete. Compressive strength testing is carried out at 28 days. This study shows that the optimum strong vibrating with acceleration 180 m/s2, velocity 160 mm/s, and displacement 1000 mm with the resulting compressive strength is Fc’ 23.06 MPa. So that knowing the optimum vibration strength can be the basis for the implementation of vibration to get the planned concrete quality.
