Investigation of corrosion damage of wrought aluminium alloys at full-scale accelerated tests. Part 2. Pitting corrosion

Abstract: The paper presents the results of a study of pitting corrosion of aluminum alloys of seven doping systems after testing by the full-scale accelerated method. The advantages of the method of laser scanning microscopy in the analysis of pitting corrosion are shown, which makes it possible to improve significantly the accuracy of measurements in comparison with the metallographic method.
