Abstract:Background Metyrapone inhibits 11 β-hydroxylase, contributing to adrenal insufficiency (AI). This study aims to explore the efficacy of Tribulus terrestris fruit extract (TTFE) and an isolated compound (hecogenin) on metyrapone-induced AI.
