Abstract:In the present work, dosimetric potential and temperature-dependent behaviors of the radicals produced upon c-irradiation of anhydrous and monohydrate citric acid were explored through a detail electron spin resonance (ESR) study. While unirradiated samples presented no ESR signal, irradiated samples were observed to exhibit an ESR spectrum consisting of many intense and weak resonance lines spread over a magnetic field range about 13 mT and centered at g = 2.0032. Although, the radicals produced upon c-irradi… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
