Investigation of Laser Scribing Technics for Reducing Core Loss of Grain-Oriented Silicon Steels

Abstract: A laser is often considered to scribe the steel surfaces after cold-rolling and annealing to reduce the energy losses associated with hysteresis and eddy currents.
