Investigation of Leifsonia xyli subsp. xyli in insects

Abstract: Leifsonia xyli subsp. xyli, the causal agent of ratoon stunting, is an endophytic bacteria that colonize sugarcane xylem vessels. It is generally accepted that sugarcane is the only natural host of ratoon stunting.
