Abstract: Background: RNA polymerase beta subunit (rpoB) gene analysis in bacterial communities is known as a method for determining rifampin sensitivity and genetic diversity among Brucella spp. Detection of antibiotic resistance among Brucella isolates can be a critical approach to control brucellosis.
