“…Aerodynamic levitation (ADL) technique is a newly developed containerless solidification method for allowing the vitrification of unconventional components without adding any network‐forming substances, during which the gravity of the sample can be counteracted by controlling the high‐speed airflow out of the nozzle, and then the sample is in a containerless state and melted by using laser irradiation, thereby avoiding inhomogeneous nucleation and contamination from crucible surfaces as melts cool, facilitating deep undercooling of the levitated melt and achieving fast solidification. Using this technique, we previously prepared novel La 2 O 3 ‐Ga 2 O 3 ‐Ta 2 O 5 glasses with unexpectedly remarkable features, including excellent mechanical, optical, and thermal properties, 20 which allows the potential for providing a good luminescent environment for RE 3+ ions. Here, Er 2 O 3 , Tm 2 O 3 , and Pr 6 O 11 are chosen as dopants and incorporated into LGT glass simultaneously by replacing La 2 O 3 .…”

“…useful for radiation dosimetry processes [4]. The addition of BaO to the pure silicate host enhances the refractive index, reduces the glass discussion, and improves glass resource optically inert.…”
