Abstract:Objective: Pseudoexfoliation syndrome (PEX) occurs as a result of aggregation of extracellular matrix material in ocular tissues and visceral organs and it is known as a systemic disease. The purpose of our study is to investigate the activities of carbonic anhydrase (CA), glutathione reductase (GR), aldose reductase (AR), paraoxonase (PON) enzymes in aqueous and serum samples, also serum selenium levels.
