Abstract:Aim or purpose:The radioactive I-131 (RAI) treatment is an adjuvant treatment option that increasingly is applied in hyperthyroidism, toxic nodular goitre and Grave's disease. The aim of this study is to investigate the possible radioprotective role of Vitamin C in I-131(RAI) treatment in hyperthyroid patients.
