Investigation of the gap-to-Tc ratio of LaH10 and LaD10 superconductors

Abstract: In this research, we investigated the gap-to-[Formula: see text] ratio of LaH[Formula: see text] and LaD[Formula: see text] superconductors by using modification of the BCS theory. The assumption of carriers under high pressure was in a new state, revealing a novel dispersion relation and providing a peak located in density of state. The precise formula of the gap-to-[Formula: see text] ratio was derived and achieved. The numerical results were examined, and subsequently a greater value than the one in the BCS… Show more

“…The field of experimental and theoretical studies of materials with strongly correlated charge carriers [46][47][48][49]57,[59][60][61]74,[98][99][100][101][102][103][104][105][106][107][108][109][110][111][112][113][114][115][116], including diborides [44,[46][47][48][49]107,108], is experiencing a boom. In this work, we deduced the primary superconducting parameters of highly compressed diborides: the P6/mmm phases of MoB 2 and WB 2 and ambient pressure superconductors Nd 0.75 Mo 0.25 B 2 .…”

“…Another possible consequence of exerting pressure on a hydride superconductor is the possible fluctuation of the density of states, resulting in the formation of a narrow peak in the density of states. This peak is seen to occur somewhat below the Fermi level [17,28,29]. In our suggested model, we also made the assumption that the fluctuation in carriers under pressure leads to a single narrow fluctuation constant in the density of states.…”

“…In the LaH 10 superconductor, the theoretical confirmation of an electron-phonon coupling mechanism with a larger gapto-T c ratio than the BCS value in the superconductors [14,15] T c = 214 K with R = 4.6 at 300 GPa was observed [14]. In yttrium hydride superconductors, there were reports of YH 4 , YH 6 , YH 7 and YH 9 with R = 4.1-4.3, 5.0, 3.7-3.9 [6,16,17] and 4.7-5.5 [7,17]. The critical temperature of yttrium hydride superconductors, referred to as YH 9 , was found to exhibit exceptional properties in experimental studies.…”
