Abstract:The article presents a study aimed at obtaining a composite antifriction material. The structure and properties of a metal-glass material based on iron, represented by VK-1 powder, were researched. The relationship between the content of the reinforcing glass filler, represented by the shards of container glass, and the heat resistance of the resulting composite was revealed. It was revealed that with an increase in the content of glass filler up to 15% of the volume, the heat resistance increases.
