Investigation of the IV characteristics asymmetry in semiconducting Y–Ba–Cu–O diodes

Abstract: Thin films of YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7-x (YBCO) oxygen-deficient superconductor were used to manufacture asymmetric microdiodes and investigate their asymmetric non-linear current-voltage (I-V) dependences at temperatures T > T c , where T c is the temperature of the onset of superconductivity in the material.
