Abstract:The effect of walnut shell extract ( Juglans regia) on chromium (VI) formation in leather during the finishing process is investigated in this study. The walnut shell extract composition was determined using gas chromatography. To enable chromium (VI) formation, finished leather samples were aged under various conditions, including exposure to ultraviolet light.
