This study reflects teachers' opinions about the mathematics teaching programs for gifted students. As a method, " a case study", which is qualitative research, was used to reveal the existing problems related to a problem or situation in detail and to offer solutions. During the academic year 2022-2023, a study was conducted in Türkiye with 57 mathematics teachers who work with gifted students in support education rooms and Science and Art Centers (SAC). Data were collected using a structured interview form prepared on Google Forms. The content analysis method was used to interpret and make sense of the data. Participants' opinions on the educational needs, teacher competencies, mental and physical characteristics of gifted students, software use and mathematical proof processes were analyzed and various results were obtained. In this study, to increase the effectiveness of the program, it was suggested that the program should be updated by taking teachers' opinions into consideration, differentiated and enriched activities should be prepared by integrating technology, workshops should be equipped, and in-service training should be provided in various fields. It was also suggested that it would be beneficial to use a common program accepted all over the world in the education process of these children. Recommendations also include a common pathway for students, directing them to universities in line with their abilities and creating specific employment opportunities after graduation.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, çocuk edebiyatıyla bütünleştirilmiş matematik derslerinin 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin problem çözmeye yönelik tutumlarına, problem çözme becerilerine ve stratejilerine, matematiksel ilişkilendirme ile matematiksel özyeterlik düzeylerine etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmada deneysel araştırma yöntemlerinden öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 30 sekizinci sınıf öğrencisi ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın verileri Matematik Problemi Çözmeye Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği, Problem Çözme Beceri ve Stratejileri Ölçeği, Matematiksel Özyeterlik Ölçeği ve Matematiksel İlişkilendirme Özyeterlik Ölçeği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Veriler Kolmogorov Smirnov, Shapiro Wilk, İlişkili Örneklemler t testi, Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar testi, İlişkisiz Örneklemler t testi ve Mann Whitney U testleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, çocuk edebiyatı ile bütünleştirilmiş matematik dersleri sonrası deney ve kontrol gruplarında bulunan 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin matematik problemi çözmeye yönelik tutum, matematiksel ilişkilendirme ve matematiksel özyeterlik düzeylerine ilişkin öntest ve sontest puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır. Ancak deney grubu öğrencilerinin puanlarında problem çözme beceri ve stratejileri ölçeğinin “Problemin Çözümünü Değerlendirme” alt boyutunda olumlu yönde bir değişimin olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırmanın bu bulgusunun çocuk edebiyatı ve matematik öğretimi bütünleştirmesinin problem çözme aşamalarında önemli bir yeri olan problemin çözümünü değerlendirme aşamasına katkı sağlayabileceği düşünülmektedir.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilkokul ikinci sınıfta okuyan özel yetenekli öğrencinin; tanılanma sürecini, özelliklerini, bu özelliklerinin eğitime yansımalarını ve öğretmeninin onun gelişimine katkı sağlamak için gerçekleştirdiği etkinlikleri tespit etmektir. Araştırma, nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması yöntemiyle yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılı Kahramanmaraş ilinde görev yapan bir öğretmen ve onun özel yetenekli öğrencisi Nehir oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verilerinin elde edilmesinde gözlem, görüşme ve doküman incelenmesi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda Nehir'in; özel yetenekli olduğunu sınıf öğretmeninin fark ettiği ve tanılanması için Bilim ve Sanat Merkezine yönlendirdiği, üzerinde sıklıkla durulan ve araştırma bulguları ile de desteklenmiş özel yetenekli öğrencilerde bulunabilecek özelliklerin birçoğunu gösterdiği ancak bazılarını ise göstermediği belirlenmiştir. Aynı zamanda Nehir'in, öğretmeninin mesleki gelişimine katkıda bulunduğu, arkadaşlarını da olumlu yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. Ayrıca Nehir'in gelişimine katkı sağlamak için öğretmeninin destekleme, değer verme ve ailesiyle iletişim halinde olma gibi davranışlar sergilediği tespit edilmiştir.
