Abstract:This work examined the influence of zirconium concentration on barium titanate (BZT) BaZrxTi1−xO3, with (x = 0, 0.15, 0.50, 0.75, and 1), produced by the tartrate precursor technique.
“…Inorganic perovskite oxides are ancient materials but still a hot topic today in the fields of physics, material science, and electronics. 1–9 Lead titanate (PbTiO 3 ) is one of the most representative chemicals of the ABO 3 -type perovskite oxide. A perfect ABO 3 -type perovskite oxide should have a cubic lattice but the PbTiO 3 crystal is distorted spontaneously into a tetragonal structure at room temperature.…”
A pressure-induced transition from electronic conduction to ionic conduction was observed in polycrystalline PbTiO3, accompanied by the disappearance and reappearance of ferroelectricity.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
