Investigation of Z Center Conversions in KCl:SrCl2. II. Dielectric Relaxation Caused by Mutual Conversions of Z1, Z2, and F Centers

Abstract: Loss angle measurements in the course of linear heating are carried out during a mutual conversion of F, Z,, and Z, centers in KCI: SrCI, one into the other and of KCI : SrCl, containing no colour centers. It is found that besides the known losses caused by reorientation of impurity vacancy complexes, point defect surface polarization, and conductivity, also the Z, 4 F conversion causes losses.
